We are an Australian based manufacturer selling into leading pathology laboratories in Australia, and distributing worldwide, and are looking to expand our diverse, supportive and talented team.

We are seeking a collaborative and tenacious Project Manager to oversee defined research and development projects to completion at Genetic Signatures that deliver our innovative products.

Directly reporting to the CFO, with dotted line to CEO and CSO, as the successful candidate you will:

• Work to defined project objectives scope, roles & responsibilities
• Facilitate project plans to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities
• Use project management tools to monitor progress of the project
• Identify and mitigate risks which may impact successful delivery of projects
• Advise on, recommend and coordinate approved adjustments for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget
• Facilitate and coordinate delivery of the projects according to approved plan
• Track project and providing regular reports on project status to project team leaders and key stakeholders

Essential for success as our Project Manager is:

• Ability to advise project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion
• Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• A flexible and adaptable attitude
• The ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate with all teams and levels across the organisation
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Technical competence in project management software, Salesforce and Microsoft suite

It is advantageous if your personal talent tool kit includes:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Six Sigma Certification
• A minimum of Bachelors or Master’s degree in a related field
• Project management experience in related field/industry, molecular diagnostics
