• Cost reduction and updated capital management controls: Annual savings of $5M have already been implemented by reducing fixed and operational costs. Our aim is to continue to identify andimplement cost management processes and rationalise product and instrument development programs which may result in further operational savings.
• Market access strategy reset: An overview of the global infectious disease diagnostic market has identified untapped opportunities in the UK, Europe and Asia Pacific. Current spending on US market access will be reallocated to these regions. Strengthening relationships with existing customers remains a key priority.
• Product and instrument development strategy reset: A product upgrade program will be implemented driven by market access and global regulatory requirements. The existing instrument development project has been paused, and the Company’s existing instrument pool will be utilised for UK and regional launches in the medium term.
