Headquarters
Sydney, Australia
Genetic Signatures is headquartered in the suburb of Newtown in Sydney, Australia. Newtown is a suburb of Sydney's inner west, just four kilometers from Sydney's central business district, and is an accessible workplace for staff within and outside of the Sydney metropolitan area. The three story building houses our core laboratory facility used for research and development, as well as validation and quality assurance processes. The building also includes our commercial office spaces for our various departments: Research & Development, Validation, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Sales, Marketing, Technical Support and Finance. Our Production team is based at the nearby production facility in Maroubra.
On site, our skilled team of scientists develop the chemical reagents that drive our unique 3baseTM multiplex real-time PCR assays, as well as ongoing technical advances for our workflow and automated systems. The laboratory space is fitted out with all the Genetic Signatures automated systems: the GS-1000, GS1-HT, GS1 and GS-mini. In addition, a dedicated thermocycling room is fitted with relevant thermocyclers to support the R&D of our various workflow solutions with these platforms. Our regional teams and distributors across the United States and EMEA often visit our Headquarters for events and training.
Production Facility

Genetic Signatures' Production Facility is based in Maroubra, Sydney. The Production team has seen rapid expansion since 2020 in alignment with increased production demands during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to supply the company's growing customer base worldwide. Our customers' continuous product supply requirements are consistently met due to enhanced efficiencies in production and automation processes, as well as the maintenance of close partnerships with reliable suppliers of high quality reagents and consumables.
The Production Facility produce and assemble the reagents that comprise our EasyScreen™ Sample Processing Kits and EasyScreen™ Detection Kits. They also produce our proprietary 3base™ Conversion Reagent, which is part of the sample processing protocol. Our Production team works closely with our Regulatory and Quality Assurance teams to ensure the performance of our products meet the regulatory requirements of different regions. This includes our successful relationships with international warehousing and logistics companies for fast and reliable global shipment of our products.
The BioHub Birmingham

The BioHub Birmingham is located at the Birmingham Research Park, and is a fully serviced biomedical incubator and accelerator for life science companies. Genetic Signatures partnered with The Biohub in 2022, securing our first physical footprint within the UK and Europe to support operations in the region, despite already providing product to customers and distributors. The BioHub will support various operations including the development of protocols, access to quality performance material and clinical samples, as well as customer training and technical support. Genetic Signatures chose the BioHub because of its outstanding facilities, and the ability to accommodate the company's key instrumentation. In addition, Biohub offers excellent transport connections, which provide easy access to the UK and beyond. The city is already central to the UK's road and rail network, and its international airport connects Birmingham to global markets.
Los Angeles BioLabs

BioLabs is an 80,000 sqft co-working lab and office space on the third floor of the Lundquist Institute, located in Los Angeles, California. Genetic Signatures occupies a space within this facility which supports research and development capabilities for product development dedicated specifically to the North and South American markets. The facility also supports training for staff, customers and distributors, and includes the capability to foster collaborations with key opinion leaders in specific areas.
