Enteric Bacteria Screening
EB001– EasyScreen™ Enteric Bacteria Detection Kit
EB001 (100RXNS) & EB001-HT (500RXNS)
For the detection of (i) Salmonella spp., (ii) Campylobacter spp., (iii) Shigella spp./Enteroinvasive E.coli, (iv) Yersinia enterocolitica, (v) toxigenic C. difficile and (vi) Listeria monocytogenes in faecal samples. The multiplexed PCR is performed over two PCR wells and includes an Internal Positive Control (IPC) and an Extraction Control (EC) in the following layout:
|Detection Channel||Reaction Mix A||Reaction Mix B|
|Channel 1||Campylobacter spp.||Toxigenic Clostridium difficile (tcdA/tcdB)|
|Channel 2||Extraction Control (EC)||Internal Positive Control (IPC)|
|Channel 3||Salmonella spp.||Yersinia enterocolitica|
|Channel 4||Shigella spp./Enteroinvasive E.coli (EIEC)||Listeria monocytogenes|
The EasyScreen™ Bacterial Detection Kits are designed to be used in conjunction with EasyScreen™ Sample Processing Kits and include all reagents required for amplification of 100 reactions or 500 reactions in HT format.

Typical Results Obtained from Primary Patient Samples
Results of clinical study comparing results from EB001 EasyScreen™ Enteric Bacteria Detection Kit to culture results from faecal samples.
|Shigella spp./Enteroinvasive E.coli (EIEC)||1||1|
|Toxigenic Clostridium difficile||4||4|
|No Pathogen Identified||3||2|
